Hi there! I'll keep this brief. I'm a pre-hormone (Though only for a month more) Just-gone 19 year old MtF from England. It's nice to meet you guys!

So ayway, I can't really think of any drama to recall from my life - it's been pretty much one long period of uneventfull awkwardness. I spent 12 years being shy and withdrawn, reliased what the problem was, spent another 5 years after that of not really doing anything about it, was pretty much an indoorsy bookworm and nerd throughout my education years, came out at 17 to my parents who's reactions were basically nothing more then "Oh. So is this going to cost a lot of money?" 1.3 years of stumbling progress and awkward conversations later, here we are.

Hopefully I'll be able to pass by the time I go to university next year. I can't really get a straight anwser from anyone about that. My parents both have obligatory responses, and all the professionals say the usual "You shouldn't care as long as you are happy in yourself" stuff.

So anyway, this is the only forum I can find that a)Isn't too small or b)Doesn't start a witch hunt everytime you express an opinion. No offense to those other places.

So, er, yeah. Happy to be here!

Thanks for the welcoming posts. Say, a couple of questions.

1) Is it possible to turn off avatars somehow? Some of you folks have pretty big ones and it's lagging me something awful.

2) This is going to come across as a bit vain, but is there a specific place where people post photographs of themselves? They seem to be all over the place.
