As has been extensively reported, Iceland is in the midst of an economic and political crisis that has brought down the ruling coalition of Geir Haarde. Although elections have been called for in May, Mr. Haarde has announced that he will step down because of the discovery of a malignant tumor on his esophagus earlier this week.

Wouldn't want that job, Iceland has a debt load that is equal to its annual GDP.
I need a job now. I'd take the job. If I screw up and get tossed from office, at least I'd have P.M. of Iceland on my resume. Though I might not use anyone there as a reference.
I meet people from Iceland from time to time, went to college with a few, they love to drink. A lot.
