Hi to allll

I feel very supported by my friends on this site.
As many know my wife Rebecca is totally paralysed from an accident. I don't seek any aid from this site beyond emotional support. Rebecca has now had her second year in high depencey care. Her Birthday was today; we; the staff and relatives tried to make it special. Happy. Then said "What do we do for the next 30 yrs?'

There aren't really any words of comfort that don't sound trite in situations like this.

Just... know that inside you have the strength to cope, Cindy, even if it doesn't feel like it sometimes. And whatever strength I have, I give to you freely. Hang in there honey. Be there for her when you can and let her know that you love her.

I can't even begin to imagine how heart-wrenching this must be for both of you.

I... don't know what else to say. I'm so sorry either of you have to face this.

I knew that you had a situation to deal with Cindy. But I didn't know about the accident. Stay strong and give Rebecca an extra B-Day kiss for me

I think we will all be singing a similar song here but also a big hug to you Cindy,

your very brave to face each day in this way...i can only imagine the strength you have.

I hope it works out for you both i truly do.

I and my ex took care of my elder parents, when they were alive. And I know it is a hard thing to do. But you are strong.
