Hi, I've been lurking for a long time as I am not a transgender person. I hope it's okay for me to post because I am very interested in all people. Anyway, I saw the documentary "Southern Comfort" (in 9 parts on YouTube) about Robert Eads, a transgender man with ovarian cancer. It is a great documentary and Robert was an amazing guy! Here's the link to part one:

Sure you're welcome here! Been wanting to see that forever. Thanks for the link.
Hope you will stick around these parts.
Thanks, Nero for the nice welcome! I don't know what I have to offer you all except for encouragement and support.

I notice that the video was embedded right there in the message. If you want to see parts 2-9 -- go to youtube.com and type in southern comfort robert eads and you'll see the other parts. They're not all in order though. Sorry for the possibly unnecessary instructions. I just want to make sure anyone who wants to see this does -- because I enjoyed it so much. Robert was a unique and extraordinary human being, transgendered or not.
Yeah that is a great doc, I own a full copy of it. I was surprised the first time I saw it because I thought the stocky blond FTM at the beginning was a genuine boy.
If you liked that though there was also that show Transgeneration that Sundance put out. SoCo was better imo, but Trasgen still has a lot of good moments and stories (well Gabrielle is a bit of a headache).
I have it sitting on my desk waiting to go back to Netflix (sorry to anyone waiting for it :P ).
I rented it from Netflix a couple of years ago. Very moving, I watched it twice!
