Just this past week I've started binding on a regular basis at work, where I'm not out. Strangely enough, I'm finding that since I started binding, people (especially guys) seem to be more comfortable around me. Now maybe it's just that I'm more comfortable with myself when I bind, and they're reacting to that. Or maybe they're subconsciously perceiving me as more masculine and behaving accordingly. I dunno. Anyone else had a similar experience?
Similar yes. But I found myself bonding more with women. The guys I would bond with tended to be somewhat fem. like me. The more masculine guys tended to want the same thing that allot of guys want from a girl. It seemed to start with me making an effort to be a friend rather than being so withdrawn. I started putting out a positive vibe and usually got a positive in return. I'm still working on it :laugh:

I think its both, since you are feeling more comfortable and that shows and the fact breast are attention grabbers for most guys so they cant help but "notice" them.
You know a less swollen chest its good.
Ditto the confidence and comfort of finally presenting as your true self, even if you're not yet passing. I found people started reacting differently to me almost immediately, and moreso once I started T.

I have noticed guys looking at my boobs, since they started growing. Especially on cold days :laugh:
Unrelated but I had a dream recently where I was reprimanded by a woman because I kept looking at her boobs XD it wasn't until a day later where I realised it had been a dream, lol.
but yes, since I started binding about 18 months ago, I can't really remember if people treated me differently or not... I know that I feel more natural binding. However, I'll walk around home with my flatmates around without wearing a binder and they don't treat me any different... prolly cause they're use to it :)
It's been about 2 1/2 years ago, but as I recall, the second I started binding, I started passing. Not perfectly, and it diminished over time, but I did pass, probably 80% of the time, when binding. People are probably reading you as male.

I don't really think my interaction with anyone has changed, but I've noticed that when people aren't sure if i'm male or female they will look at my chest and then decide i'm male lol it kind of makes me laugh.

beh, binding help pass some but even binding I can't hide the two lumps entirely, they just become one squashed down lump on my chest. sucks being big there
I'm probably a bit odd. I never bound. Well, not never. I tried it a few times in my house and I went to dr and therapist's appointments bound cause I thought it was expected of me.
So I went on T, not bound, and continued on T. Seven months into it, I suddenly started getting called sir. With the headlights on full beam. I actually had to show ID at my bank and the video store. Then I started binding out of self preservation, but I had chest surgery scheduled two weeks from then. I had planned to not present as male until after chest surgery. Did I get some confused looks in those couple of weeks though. They do look at your tits first if they're faintly gender confused, and apparently my face and voice had changed enough by then that people were reading "male" and then seeing tits. I expect that if I'd got rid of the tits sooner, I'd have been read as male a lot sooner.
