Alright! so I'm new...obviously my name is Ian. I'm 20 years old, pre-op, and a pre-t transguy yep so now that that's done I can get to my dumb question. I finally bought a packer and I never owned anything like this before so my question is does it matter what kind of soap you wash it with? Its cyberskin and I got this antibacterial soap I was thinking about using but its also like a moisturizing pineapple smelling stuff lol does that matter? That's probably the stupidest question ever but I don't want it to like hell I dunno die lol
I've no experience with the matter, but I'm pretty sure any regular soap will work. Just to be safe, I'd use non antibact soap, just in case the antibact stuff does something funny to the texture or material.
Doesn't matter at all.
Any hand soap should do. Anti-bacterial doesn't matter, but I'm not sure if the moisturizer in it would make your packer greasy. In any case, you want to be sure to dust it with corn starch when it dries.
I always use my body wash. That way its clean and it smells like the rest of me.
ooooo that's a brilliant idea! besides I'm sure old spice would be a better smell then pineapple XD
Welcome to Susans Ian,
I normally wash all of mine in normal soap!

No question is a stupid question. And thanks for showing me this website Ian. Even though I did write my intro before you but hey it happens.
aww well your welcome buddy ^_^ and I know I'm such a damn procrastinator lol
Cyberskin CAN soak up scents... so just make sure you're using something you don't mind the smell of. Apart from that, I had a cyberskin packer and just used antibac soap... kinda anal retentive about germs. I never saw it do any damage. I know cyberskin will deteriorate over time; with STP packers, at least, the sellers always recommend you replace them after 8-12 months. But I doubt there's much you can do about that except not use the packer at all... and that would kinda defeat the purpose.
Dudes are right... there are no stupid questions. Feel free to ask away, and welcome to the forums. Makes me happy to see so many ftms coming on here... when I started here 2 1/2 years ago, there were about 8 of us.

You are definately a procrastinator but hey oh well thats you. So pretty much what I get from the responses is that unless you want your packy to smell like a flower to use something manly and something that kills germs.
I want to buy a packy in the very near future. Any recommendations?

I haven't bought one yet, but did some extensive searching, and the soft pack I'm planning on getting is this one: http://www.goodvibes.com/display_product.jhtml?id=13BC01#fulldescription (http://www.goodvibes.com/display_product.jhtml?id=13BC01#fulldescription) . I bought one a long time ago from another site... I ordered a 5-inch, which was way too big to begin with, and they sent me some 7-inch pink monstrosity. I don't have the best experience with those things, but hopefully I'll have the money for the Good Vibes one eventually.

Well thanks for that info Sebastien. I will have to take a look.
lol i love your picture Jake lol XD but I got my soft packer from Babeland (even got 30 minutes of free porn with it Cha ching! XD haha) I got the 4.5inch one and it was like 25 bucks all together with shipping. I bought the wrong size 4.5 inches is a bit too big for me buuut I'm kind of a small guy and I had a stupid moment over the measurement that is just so dumb i rather not repeat it haha but even though its a bit big for me I honestly love it! The only problem I'm really having with it is it likes to basically pop out of my boxers lol it doesn't like to stay down really but that might just be because of the size. I've never used a mango one but I do like the way the small one looks and I haven't heard anything bad about it.
