Title: Using my female voice more often
Post by: V M on February 24, 2009, 02:14:26 AM
Well, a few different things and events lead to this.

A) My female voice feels comfortable to me
B) Folks noticing my breast growth
C) Folks looking confused when I use my male (Military) voice

An elderly neighbor woman at my apt.s changed out my laundry from the washer to the dryer although I had asked her not to. I'm sure she was just being helpful. Well, my panties and other fem. clothes were in there. At first I was afraid that I would be ridiculed. (She and many others are very religious) To my surprise many of the women here now treat me like one of the girls  I am beginning to wonder if they don't actually think I'm a girl.(I overheard them talking about me not wearing a bra)

I just wear non-descript clothes when I go out in public. But guys open doors for me. I've caught a few looking at my stuff. Some folks say "excuse me ma'am" after nearly tripping me. I'm not sure what to think. But then Virginia alway's has questions in her head

Don't think, just be happy.  ;D
It could be much worse.

It can get kind of confusing.

Before full time I did a part time transition, i.e living in role Sat, Suns etc. It really phased people when they rung and I used a different voice.

The hard part comes when you have mastered the voice and start using it a work, that will really cause confusion.

I'm not FT yet, when I go out as Paula I use my Female voice as much as i can, It's still a work in progress. Lately even when i have to be him i dress very androgynous, meaning woman's jeans, shoes, cap, jewelry, clear polish, you get the picture. I been getting ma'med this and honey that so i have to use my feminine voice everywhere except for the phone at work and with my friends.

That is a very positive thing and you should be very happy people treat you as a female.

Thats great virginia. I started my female voice by eating a beefburger that some South American's had prepared for me specially..
By the time I'd digested the Burger I had a female voice of a Latino American.
I went to their shop to quiz them about it but they had closed down and instead a Take away shop called Popular was being built.
It was all very cryptic! But it sure has helped..
I remeber the last thing the old man and woman said..
He said..'I should stay away from getting a girlfriend at this time' and she said 'I dont do guy so good'...
I even think Sepultura talks about Magical burgers in the Song "Open up your mind and go your own way." On their Recording 'Roots."And they are from Belo in Brasil.
Im thankful though really I am ...
It's amazing to have a voice without having to practice it...
Gives more meaning to the Phrase 'what you eat is what you are!'
Im being honest about this...
Sincerely Natalie.

I was raised mainly by women. My female voice and persona came very natural to me. My challenge was to act and talk like a man. But it was just that. Acting. I got tired of acting and playing the roll of a hard ass. I am glad to be re-discovering myself and relax a bit

Um it's 'Ratamahatta' not 'open up your mind.'

What trippy songs on an equally trippy recording. Was that written for all those kinds like me..Does anyone know...???
when you look up Lyrics they are sometimes different from what Max Cavalera is actually saying or singing...
Whatever it is- it's great to move my hips to sexually plus the Music rocks!

Are you seriously saying you ate a specially prepared hamburger that changes your voice from a masculine to feminine one?

Voice training is difficult for me. Probably because it takes practice everyday for an hour or two. I forget or procrastinate. I do practice with my dog. He's a good listener but there is no constructive critism. If I record myself it never sounds right to me. Does singing help? Maybe if a tryed imitating certain songs it would help. So far all I have are the written instructions from deepstealth. I have been called maam before but I didn't speak. Merely nodded. By the way the primary language of Brazil is Portuguese. Many people think it would be spanish. ByBy, Genevieve

Once you are using your female voice full time.  Try to use the old male voice.  I have tried and it is like it has gotten lost somewhere.  Which is not s bad thing.   ;D
