Do all people go through life transitions?
Well... my view is that transition is simply a change from one thing to something else, so in that respect... life itself is a constant transition. :)
I thinks so. Like puberty is a transition and so is getting old in fact there are many types of transitions when you think about it!
I see 'these' kinds of transitions as left or right turns in life...and all the interesting people have that. I have met people who's life were like an arrow, pull it back, let it go and it is done. But I would never want to be locked in a room with 'em.
Everyday is somewhat different than the last.
Dating, marriage, children, death, new job, new education. Just to name a few. Life is about changes. Without them we become stagnant, wither and grow sickly.

Excellent question :)
Everyone does, some are conscious of it, others not.
Life is a transition itself from one existence to another. Maybe.
Astrological transits - how the planets move during your life.
I Ching - Book Of Changes (according to this, everything is in a state of change and there is no static existence), which is kinda the way I see things.
Changes
David Bowie
I still don't know what I was waiting for
And my time was running wild
A million dead-end streets
Every time I thought I'd got it made
It seemed the taste was not so sweet
So I turned myself to face me
But I've never caught a glimpse
Of how the others must see the faker
I'm much too fast to take that test
Ch-ch-ch-ch-Changes...
I think there is no way around transitioning in life. If you get together with other people, there has always to be some kind of adaption. If noone ever gave in to others and changed himself for the sake of others, life would be hard. Therefore there will always be transitions that one has to go through, some of them we decided to do freely. And we all know that some changes we did for others, to fit in. (and then throw off the shakles years later)
On Transition
It is impossible to exist, and observe that existence simultaneously. And anything reconstructed in retrospect, in memory, is only a moment in a changing idea of reality. So therefore nothing really exists, and we can simply toss the verb 'to be' into the rabbit hole.
I don't believe in the concept of fate per se, but I do giggle whenever I recall this:
Fata volentem du->-bleeped-<-, nolentem trahunt
"The fates lead the willing; the unwilling, they drag."
I have an entertaining game I play with what is referred to as the will within me. My will interacts with the forces of say, the collective unconscious (morphogenetic field), and the rational external construct (society and media). Then, as I have those spinning in the air over my head, I construct them and a third aspect which is me, my mind that I know. But just before I can become aware (because I'm probably concentrating on doing the dishes), something happens: subconscious intentionality. It is a great balancing act, the one where the juggling pins and tightropes are invisible, and one can ride on a unicycle along the tenuous thread of time.
This is how I trans-i-shun,
Trans-i-shun, trans-i-shun.
This is how I trans-i-shun

Yes. And the real good ones go through several, at least.
Yes. People who grow are constantly in transition. Do not fear your own growth. The fear messes people up.

Struck a chord.
I think life by definition requires you to go through transitions and changes, whether you're trans or not. Change is good for everyone, it makes us grow as people.
Yes. It's fluid and constant.

Some do, some don't. I know my dad is stuck in his teens (mentally). X_X
