Title: Like everyone else posting, I'm new.
Post by: Rem on March 11, 2009, 05:27:30 AM
I had this really long introduction typed out, but it sounded more like a rant than anything else. :icon_neutral: I'll try to keep it short and moderately intelligible.

You can call me Rem, I'm a teenager, and I'm from British Columbia, Canada - born and raised.

It never really occured to me that there was anything wrong with the way I felt until I was about 10 or 11 and things started feeling REALLY wrong. (ie: boobs. D<) Then it took me another year to figure out what exactly "FtM transsexual" meant..

I can't really do anything about it, though, since I live in a really small town and don't have a vehicle to get appropriate counseling and such. My mom's pretty confusing in that she doesn't even address the fact that I would like to transition someday, but she was really calm and everything when I came out to her.

This is turning into another rant, though.. so I'll cut it short and say that I'm happy I've found this site and finally decided to actually register and introduce myself instead of lurking around threads like a creeper. I'm sort of "internet-shy", so I probably won't post much - if at all.

Good bye to whoever reads this.

Hi Rem,   :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 1900 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion. Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers.  Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now.  And it is always nice to have another brother.   :icon_hug:

Welcome, hopefully you will come out of your Internet "shell" here or at least feel comfortable here.
Cheers

Welcome to the Board, Rem. Whatever your comfort is just do it!! Well as long as you follow the TOS (https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/topic,2.0.html). If ya go to The Main Page (https://www.susans.org/index.html) you'll also find access to Chat, Wiki and our Reference Library (which, given your reclusive nature)  :) may be ideal for you.

Have a wonderful time here using the site and all the best in handling transition. You'll get there some day, promise! :)

Nichole
