So, as the title says, I'm new. Uhm, so, a little about me. My name is Savannah, but I mostly go by Jake online. For the past oh... maybe two, three years, I've been Jake to mostly everyone I meet online. It was just recently that I discovered it was possible to actually become a guy for real, and shortly after that, I told my sister about my desire to change my gender. She helped me do some research about it, and really took it from a neutral position. The next day I told my mom and she is 100% against it. Months later, I told my brother and he tried to be okay with it to my face, but I know it bothers him. He told my dad, because it bothers him, but I've only been brave enough to just hint at it to my dad whenever he's home((he's a long haul truck driver)). The past month or so I've been searching for support groups online and found none until I asked on Y! Answers and was thankfully pointed here. ^.^
Because even the thought of going through the change makes me nervous, I wanted to get to know others who are going and have gone through this. To learn what to expect, and so I don't go through this alone, or with people who aren't fully supportive of me.
So, uhm, that's me. Lol. And heres where I don't know what else to say. lol.
Welcome, Jake. Please be sure to check out the rules and all that jazz.
This is a great site to gather knowledge and stories from our various members. There's a lot of experiences to learn from.
Also check out the wiki, for some basic information. ;)
Thank you much! I'll read the rules as soon as possible. ^.^
Awesome! That's just what I was hoping for. Thank you again. <3
Hi Jake! :D
Hey, I knew a Savannah once. Did you ever live in Minnesota? ...Nah, what are the chances?
Hey Heartwood! 8)
Lol, nope. I've lived in, Cali, Missouri, Wisconsin, and then back to Cali. So, unfortunately, I doubt it was me. That would be awesome though, wouldn't it?
Woooot, Californian pride!
;D
Heyhey. -fistbumps-
Hey dude ;D konichiwa, welcome, and all that jazz
to Asher: *fistbumps* Yay! Lol. North or South?
to Jeatyn: Konishiwaaa. Lol, thank you. ^.^

Whoot for Cali! I guess XP
Nah it doesn't sound that intense. Now if it said "TOS and *cue dramatic music* DUN DUN DUN!!! *action movie announcer voice* RULES TO LIVE BY!" that'd be more intense. :P

some people would start to listen then.. :P

Yeah we could make a whole trailer for the rules.
In them you'll find INFORMATION! *explosion sound effect* DO'S AND DON'TS *woman screaming* And hang on for the ride of your life as you read about NOT POSTING OBSCENE CONTENT *lots of effects as title screen comes up*
THE RULES TO LIVE BY
(coming soon to a computer near you)
LOL! That would be hilarious.

Hi Jake, :icon_wave:
Welcome to our little family. Over 1900 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion. Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams. Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.
But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another brother. :icon_hug:
Janet
Welcome bro :D :D 8) 8)

Thank you!
Well, you're way ahead of me in telling family Jake. Good job on that. I could probably tell my dad, as I never see him anyway. It'd likely be a lot easier lol. But I'm in the same boat. Support is a plus, and these guys help a lot ^_^
lol, I thought my sister and mom would support me. So that's why I told them first. XP
That and I figured the sooner the better. That way I wasn't too nervous when I told them. Since that would have made them more nervous. Lol.
Good luck telling your family. ^.^
