Title: anyone else love coraline?
Post by: stezzie on March 15, 2009, 04:19:13 AM
oh my god, she was so cute.
it felt like the plot was a bit rushed, but it was originally a book so that's bound to happen.

what did everyone else think about it?

It was amazing and beautiful!!!  We saw it in 3-D, which made it that much better.  I'm going to have to read the book now.  It reaffirmed my love for Neil Gaiman!  :D

I highly recommend that EVERYONE see Coraline!  It was a truly outstanding film.

I haven't seen the movie because I thought the book was a supreme borefest. I also hated American Gods, so maybe Gaiman isn't my cup of tea. But I'm curious. Is the movie a lot like the book? Is it worth watching if I hated the book? Sometimes the movie version is a big improvement...

I haven't read the book, but if you like Tim Burton, you'd probably like it.  I like some Gaiman (hated American Gods also).  It was a really beautiful movie.
