So this afternoon, I finally got fed up with the hair downstairs and took it upon myself to trim. I'm overall happy with how it is now, enough of it so I don't feel ridiculously girly, but not so much I feel like a forest, messed up in places but oh well, first try, what do you expect.
I just feel reallyreallyREALLY naked. Much better groomed. [It amuses the hell out of me to use that adjective in this context.] But very naked. It's a strange and slightly awkward feeling. I'm actually kindof torn between being able to see the womanparts [not a good feeling] and feeling cleaner in a way.
Sorry if all of that was TMI, I dunno. Just rambling.
...It's normal to feel all of these things right?
Lol it's normal. Landon recently cut his hair off (And I mean OFF. He went from about 2' to 2") and can't stop playing with it. It's even normal for women to feel that way after getting such a drastic style. I know I did when I got like 18" cut off... Haha.
lmao Asher's not talkin about the hair on your head...
But I understand you man. It really irritates me when it gets too long down there so I shave. I kinda have a way that takes away the annoying parts but keeps it looking natural. It actually makes me feel more masculine in a way, but then again I've started thinking about those parts as very small male parts... If that makes any sense. o.O
Actually, I get a little bit of that naked feeling after a haircut when I've let my hair get really shaggy.
I've never messed around with the other hair, though.
P.S. I like your new pic.
Haha oops! That's what I get for skimming rather than in depth.
oh my oO :D
Haha Ashley. :P
Osiris: Heh, I veer away from any sort of shaving, even it's small areas, simply because it's such a pain to keep up with. And ridiculously itchy.
I have an electric trimmer, which recently broke (screams into the night "NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!") so up until then it's been very easy to keep up. lol
0-0; I'm too terrified to take anything electric downstairs.
Electrics are so easy. You're way more likely to cut yourself with a normal razor than an electric.
I'm just reminded of that scene in American Pie 2 *grins*

This is very true.
The only time you need to worry is when it breaks and hair gets caught. Not cool man.
I wax my bikini line and just keep a nice "Fire strip" up the middle  The waxing last a good long time and I kinda like pulling the wax off real quick >:-)
"Hurts so good, come on baby make it hurt so good" >:-)
Wow Virginia. I had to wax my upper lip and chin once. ... It was somewhat traumatizing.
Gotta be careful what products you use. I can't use the chemi stuff like Nair etc. I find the GiGi microwave waxes work well and don't give me chemi burns. It just takes awhile to learn how to do it right. I mostly pluck my facial hair now. But am getting ready to order the GiGi facial hair remover. Or one of those machines that pluck the hairs out (much quicker)
Yeah it was just regular old fashioned wax strips... So horrifying.
The nair stuff is nasty as all hell too. I'll take a razor or electric trimmer over those horrible things any day.
I was lucky. My X GF gave me a GiGi Braziilian Bikini wax kit and showed me how to use it.
hahaha well now I feel dumb I actually have cut myself "downstairs" with an electric razor...twice :icon_redface: haha
Ouch!!! Done that once. My GF thought I'd freak when it was time to yank the wax. I think she freaked when she saw how happy I was
I cut myself downstairs one time with an electric razor. I have yet to do it again with one. Probably going to go back to doing it with the electric razor though because a regular razor is too much work.
lol yeah thats why i use electric razors too though i must admit after two cutting incidents i'm a bit scared to go REALLY at it again xD
