Title: Pee Shy?
Post by: Jamie-o on March 21, 2009, 07:57:44 PM
O.K.  This is a bit awkward, but here goes.  I find that while I can use an STP in the shower, when I try to use it while dressed, I freeze up and can't relax enough to go.  Has anyone else encountered this?  How did you get over it?

I'm pee shy in the men's room all the time. I think it takes time to get used to standing to pee.

Yeah I've had this happen too. You just need to keep trying to relax. Try running some water, let your mind wander...

If worse comes to worse you can sit down on the seat to relax then stand up and finish that way.

Yeah, I can get pee-shy.  Not even around other people, just in a one-holer (single stall) bathroom.  I realized that, for me, it only happens if I'm wearing pants and it's because I'm paranoid I've not positioned my STP quite right and it'll leak.  Solution?  Pull pants down, then use STP.  There's something about this arrangement that makes me less afraid I'll leak all over before I realize it.  Yeah, it kind of defeats the ease of standing up and won't work in multiple-urinal bathrooms (where I imagine pulling ones pants down to the knees to pee would be odd behavior).  But I figure once I'm more practiced at positioning the STP I'll be more confident that it won't leak, thus eliminating the pee-shyness.  Or so I hope.

Totally. I get it all the time, especially when standing. Dunno how to get past it.

I still have a penis >:(

No way will it work standing with other guys. Reasons could be complicated ;)

I know many genetic males who will not pee in public. Will go to a stall instead. Indeed there was a weekend review areticle for arguing male loos should be stalls only. I agree. Everyone averts their eyes. Keeps talking if it's a friend. Same in female stalls, we keep talking just don't look. Best conversations in my life have been in stalls.

You learn so much about the guys in the bar when in the loo.

Mmmm

Cindy James.

Sorry about this and I don't mean it rudely but at what level is penis construction at for FtM's? Are there any breakthroughs?
I suppose another question is what do you want a penis for?  I'm very sorry if these are incorrect questions. Dennis you are looking at the post and feel free to chasitse. I'm available for a spanking between now and then!

Leslie Ann and Cindy are correct. I cannot go while some other guy is present. Maybe I'm self conscious over my size. It's a small problem. Pun intended.

I think there's the unconscious fear of wetting your pants, but practice makes perfect.  That said, after using urinals exclusively I went into an airport bathroom and really had to go but stood there forever and couldn't do it.  I just zipped up, washed my hands and left and tried again later.

I cant pee if someone else is in the room and its quiet in there I always turn the taps or the dryer machine on and then I can go perfectly..

*Needs to remember to learn how to use his STP :(*

Also when I used my stp at home I could use it perfectly in the shower however as soon as I tried with clothes on... I had an accident :( So I haven't tried it again...

Yeah, when I was first trying to use the STP I got, I had a lot of trouble with this... probably because every time I managed to go, I'd piss all over myself!

I gave up on that a long time ago. No one has ever said a word about my always using the stall. It's just easier for me, and I know plenty of guys (WITH penises) who sit to pee.

Almost all the men where I work use the stalls.  Perhaps shy?  Or its much harder to cut a line standing at the urinal.
