Thanks for your input... ::)
I wear 11 wide, but they're a bit tight. I wasn't able to find 11.5, and the 12's were too big. In men's shoes, I'm anywhere from 10 to 11, depending on the brand.
Thanks!
I wear and 11, also. Depending on the cut, they can be a little tight.

That should be a 12 ;)
Thanks, guessed wrong! :o
13 But because I have skinny feet I can get into an open toed 11. I learned this when I found an awesome size 42 pair of leather ecco pumps on the "Free table"
I usually wear a women's size 10. Sometimes I will fit into a size 9 1/2 but usually it is a 10.
I wear a woman's size 9. Sometimes "wide" shoes are more comfortable, but sometimes they're too wide. I've tried 9.5, and they're too long; my foot slides back and forth.
In men's, I take a size 8. However, in guy-mode I wear white athletic socks -- once a nerd, always a nerd. :) In gal-mode, I wear stockings or knee-highs (duh!). That probably accounts for a 1/2 size difference.
9 to 9 1/2 (didn't vote)
My main worry is changing my name to Peggy and marrying some guy by the last name Hill  >:-)
I think our sizing must be different in my country.
I'm a 9 in males sizes and a 9 in female sizes.
I'm between a 9 and 10. sometimes a 10 is too small, and a 10w would be better, but that is only with designer shoes typically.
Between a 10 and 11. I chose 11 to be on the safe side.
11W works depending on the style but 12 is more comfortable. I love heels but they make me about 6ft 4inches tall.
I wear a womens 9 or 10, depending on the style. The only pair of shoes I have now, (after major purge Aug. 2007 wah!) are calf-high boots, (couldn't/wouldn't toss them), I think they're 9.5 USA.
I voted 10.
Couldnt vote, it doesnt go low enough but im size 7, u.k size 5
thanks again, ;)
8.5 US

Styles vary, but most of my women's shoes are size 11. Some are size 10 but they tend to be tight unless they are sandals. As some others have noted it can make a difference whether the shoe is open toe or not. In men's shoes I wear either a 9 or 9 1/2--depending on style. Generally in women's sizes it is difficult to find half sizes in the larger sizes (over size 10).
It depends on the manufacturer.
I have fit into a 9.5 (us) but most
of the time it's a 10w. If I just
"gotta" have 'em, an 11 will work.
Size 9.5W.
I can manage a 9.5 though.
I hope this info helps.
Okay so this is something I've been perplexed about the past few days, ordering tons of different shoes (right now I have 6 pairs of women shoes, but 4 of those are getting returned). Okay so here's the bizarre part:
In men's shoes I wear 10.5. In women's shoes I wear 10 wide. ???
I was wearing men's 11's but I'd been wearing 11's for years without actually measuring my foot and when I did that (to figure out girl size) I realized I should probably be size 10/10.5 men's after all, and I went with 10.5 for my new sneakers and I imagine a size 10 would be too small after all. I got size 11 womens but they ended up too big (could fit my finger between my heel and the heel of the shoe).
Anyway, I'm now obsessed with shoes. I have like 18 pairs of shoes "saved for later" on endless.com ('free' overnight shipping is great) and I really really want ALL of them. And most of them cost 60-70+. It's terrible. I'm going to try to see if I can fit into 10M without too much discomfort because it would be much more convenient than always trying to find wide width shoes.
US women 10 = 165 cm.
Unfortunately, in my country (S. Korea), the largest women's size is 155 cm in most brands, and I should order shoes from speical stores. Fortunately, I sometimes travel to Europe or U.S., purchasing shoes I will use for the next 2-3 years. US women 10W is perfect for me, but for 5-inch high heels, even size 12 was small for me. And, I like the styles in the U.S (not so much decorations in the shoes).
Barbie~~
And, I purchased the 2.5 inch black sandals in the left photo at Payless shoes in Seattle last summer. It was about $20, and 10W size. It is very comfortable to wear, and I even can run with it.
Barbie~~
11W or 12 (USA Size) depending on the shoe.
In women's shoes I wear mostly 11 US sizes but I do have 11W, 10W, and 12. It seems to me that certain brands are way narrower than other. In guys shoes wear 8 to 10.5 mostly 9.5 now a days.

165cm? Surely that should be millimetres! :o
I wear size 7 in Australia not sure what that is in the ROTW.
I think it's similar to the USA, Europe has the large numbers because they keep putting their foot in the mouth :D A very bad political joke :D

Woops. It's 165 mm, as you konw Cindy.
It is always confusing to convert metric to American units, and vice versa. In my country, all units are now metric, but both inch and cm were once used together. Government forced every companies to use just metric unit in clothes or shoes. But still some companies use cloth sizes such as 55, 66, 77, and 88 in advertisement, but in the size label, all are just cm.

I am not exactly sure. In men's I wear a 11.5 or a 12 so probably a 13 or 14 depending on brand and style. Just another thing that I am at a disadvantage at. All of you gals seem so small and I am so jealous.

Don't be too disheartened -- I wear a mens 10.5/11, but in womens shoes I wear 10/10.5/11 (depending on brand). I don't know why it works like that -- maybe the +2 size difference is for the smaller end of women's shoes? So definitely try some on and see for yourself. If you don't want to go to a store, just order something cheap from Endless.com -- they have free 365 day returns, free shipping, and free return shipping. Took me 3-4 tries before I figured out my size.
size 11
size 9 for me
8.5 mens, around a 10 in womens depending on the style and all of that.
Neat topic. I usually wear a size 12 but often the ones labelled medium are to wide for me. I haven't found a pair of men's tennis shoes to fit me in about 5 years and most women's are much to large as well. Used to buy them all the time. Go figure. I guess it is because I live in Texas and everybody is obese now. In open toed shoes a 11.5 to 12 usually works well.
11 W actually.
I'm size seven, seems true for Aus and USA. Why do you want to know?
Cindy
I wear 9.5 US men's. The first heels I ever bought I ordered by mail. They were size 11 boots. They were OK, but a bit loose, so I wear thick shorty socks in them. 10.5 is good if I can find it. I've done OK with 10 in some styles. I've always had to try on shoes to get a decent fit, though, men's or women's.
Size 9-10; But I can actually fit into shoes that are like 6-7 and I can usually last about 6-7 hous before it starts to hurt! ;)
I normally wear about a 10 or 11 depending.
Im a size 6. I must be tiny in mens feet so I just buy unisex shoes.
My genes equipped me with canal barges for feet. But for my 85 kilos I'd be able to walk on water ! Male size 11 for me dictates that I must buy femme shoes on the internet. I was advised to buy size 13 pumps, boots &c., which was perfect for the boots, but pumps tend to be a bit loose, hence the next pair will have ankle straps. I could try a size 12, but they might be too tight and a waste of money.
Size 10, but has to be wide.

8.5 true here too. Didn't vote. This poll is racist.
...We should go shoe shopping! :D

Glad to read such a nice piece of information.
This is exciting news.

8.5 to 9 US, depending on shoe manufacturer. There's a lot of difference in sizing both in length and width. I've tried on 8.5W that I swim in and 9.5 M that are too short and too tight. They should use measurements because no one seems to agree on what size is the standard.
10.5 wide.
UK size 10 or wide size 9 depending on style I guess
my women shoe size is 12
I am a US size 11, UK size 9 here.
Shoe sizes can be a bit confusing at times, I know of at least 5 sizing schemes.
Gosh , depends on the peticular shoe folks . On avaerage , I take a 13 wide . Now I was at a Shoe Shoe store a couple of months ago and found that I could fit into a 11 Wide ! I was absolutely astounded . Ellen Shaver
Well I am a womens size 12, in most styles, and a 13 in platforms. I really wish my feet where smaller like when I was younger.

I've been dieting and i've discovered that my feet have shrunk. I have some size 10 heels that used to fit fine but are now too loose. Darn, time to go shoe shopping again :)
Yep, have to agree about loosing weight, you can shrink your feet that way. Only thing you can't shrink are the bones (bummer). My feet have gotten smaller since getting more serious about becoming more female. I have read somewhere that you can loose up to two full shoe sizes when using hormone therapy during transition.
i voted you dont list my shoe sneaker size so i had to put 8.
but in reality i wear a size 7 in womans very comfy
8.5W or 9.
YAHOO, I just checked things over, Im a size 11 now YAHOO, YIPPIE HOORAY!!!!!!!!
Size 11 Aus, but that may be different in US sizing. In men's 9 1/2 or 10. Interesting that women's shoes are much easier to get a good fit too.
depending on manufacturer, I have heels in 9W and boots in 10W, my sizes in my closet range from 9M to 10 1/2W
Frustrates the hell out me not being able to buy shoes on line >:( If I can't try them on I know they won't fit.
Evie
I'm an 11
nine is a safe bet, but I wear some unisex shoes that are size eight and because they're smaller I prefer to wear them :P

I'm a British size 6. women's shoes seem to fit me better than men's sizes. Looking up that makes me an 8 or 8.5 I think
I LOVE my tiny feet ;D
I usually wear a size 10 in woman's. Sometimes, at places like Aldo, I need to go up to 11. Other times, I can squeeze into a 9 if they're super cute! :icon_chick:
UK shoe sizes do not differ between male and female, a size 8 is a size 8. However, I have noticed that several retailers import european size 41 and refer to them as size 8. This is in fact a size 7.5.
Luckily my feet have shrunk a bit so a 7.5 fits
i wear a nine in women's size - i've worn 8 1/2 before. a little tight especially if they're pumps. but 9 fits best for me.
11, but it depends upon the style. In extreme heels I need to go to a 12, as well as in some boots.
Well, I thought it best to try on some different styles and sizes before I said for sure what my shoe size is. As it turns out, I wear and 11 comfortably, some styles can be a 10 and I haven't tried anything larger than a 2" heel. ;D
My foot measures 10 1/2 inches. My Nokia converter says I am 10.5 US female, 9 1/2 au female, 8 uk female and 43 eu.
I have not put this into practice.
I will just have to go shopping for shoes. Who wants to come? :) ;) :D ;D
My son works in a shoe shop!!nyah nyah nyah nyah!!! ;D
I voted 10 but actually I am a 10 1/2 US female.
Not to hard of a size to fine around here.
Nothing over a 2" heel for me. Tried a 2.5 and it killed my back. I hurt for the next week.
I'm a 9 male, Size 10 or 11 female.
My foot is small/average but its a little wide so I need the slightly bigger size so it doesn't squeeze my foot painfully
Size 9.5 - 10 womens regular. Depends on the shoe, but 10 max.
Why do your sizes in the poll stop at 8? I'm a size 7 :( So I can't particpate...
Not sure about sizing in th US but here in the UK I'm a 7 and occasionally an 8

Really? I can't even tell I'm wearing heels unless its 3" or more.
I wear sz 11 most of the time but for some brand its too small. I've found that past sz 11 the selection of heels drops considerably.
I tried to buy shoes at the shops today but my feet just wouldnt fit into any of the shoes/boots that were my shoe size :( Ladies footwear is a lot lot smaller than men! Could someone gimmie advice? Im a size 5 (UK) what size am I for ladies wear (UK)?
I'm currently in a US womans' 10.5, which I believe correspond to a US mans' 9. My usual male size is roughly US 9.5 but of course can vary depending on what footwear I'm wearing.
wpmen's 13.5 mens 9 wide
I wear between a 12 - 13 wide. It really depends on the shoemaker and type of shoe.
10.5-11
For my height I have surprisingly small feet :D
10.5W or 11. 11 is *usually* a bit big in the length but the right width. If open toe I can go down to a 9.5 or 10. This is in US Womens sizing.
I usually wear 12s. If they are wide, I can squeeze into an 11, but I pay for it later.
