Li, realized his dream of turning into a woman at the age of 30 in August.
According to regulations, women over 26 who don't hold a high school diploma are not qualified to participate in the Miss Shenzhen competition.
Li's identity card still lists him as male.
LIT:
You have to admire Li, go girl, you are totally wrong but because of that I feel that in this case her stubbornness sends a strong message to dreamers of any type; don't give up!
gotta love it ;) , sheila
If the reason for Li not being able to participate in this is because she does not qualify, why should anyone question it?
If it is because she was not born a woman, that would be different, but if she does not meet other requirements, then they have the right to exclude her.
