I'm not all that into summer.

Though I do intend to get a tan on my legs this year, for the first time since 2005. :P

Spring yes; summer I'd like to delay as long as possible. I HATE summer here. Just heat and humidity. You can't go anywhere or do anything.

I hate hate hate summer

You'd hate, hate, hate, hate California then.  It's always summer, or almost summer.  I can swim outside pretty much year round.  My friends surf all winter too, but since you need a wet suit no matter what season, it don't matter what season it is.  Sad to see the ski season end though, short it was this year too.

I love spring summer and early fall, the rest of it, pitz on it!! the short dark days are gloomy and menotenous, mind numbing  boring.

Thank goodness the winters are only two months long here, it's spring here, nice and sunny and my partner and I went out and did a bit of shopping then just went out on a drive about.

My favorite seasons in order of favorite to lease favorite:

1. Winter
2. Fall
3. Spring
4. Summer

I cannot tolerate being warm at all. It completely sucks the life out of me. Anything over 70 is too warm. Unfortunately where I live, it is over 70 even in the Winter much of the time. I love those rare times it gets somewhat cool. When it is cold you can always add more layers but when it is hot you can only take off so much before you are arrested...

Depends on where you are.  We have a nude beach in SF, on Federal Land no less (its the only nude, oops, clothing optional beach on federal property) but where it is, well, its like the coldest place in the city.  You'd love it.

I can't wait for Summer in Oregon.

I don't like summer at all. I hate heat and humidity, it just drains all my energy. My ideal temperature is 48 degrees Fahrenheit. I generally stay inside as much as possible during the summer. In central Indiana the temperatures tend to be in the mid 80's to 90's with 100%.

Outside of The City proper, temps reach up to 100 in the summer here.  Frequently in the 90s for days and weeks at a time, but very little humidity, which makes it very different, among other things, it cools off at night a lot.

No I hate Summer!

We only have two seasons hot and extremely hot (i.e 120 F +) In June to Sept. I much prefer the colder months when we get on average 70-90F +.

I was out in the rain yesterday, what a wonderful surprise!

Where's the option for "WHERE DID MY WINTER GO?!! WE BETTER BE GETTING A DOZEN MORE FEET OF SNOW OR I'LL BE PISSED!!!!"

(https://www.susans.org/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimagecache.allposters.com%2Fimages%2Fpic%2F151%2FPTW-130%7EEndless-Winter-Posters.jpg&hash=e672628d9da450b3292f8ef84a9a47000625ce76)

Just replace those boards with some BD Zealots mounted with Marker Duke bindings, okay? ;)

It's averaging around 20 F here right now. A bit nicer than -20 F :P 70-90 F is about the average summer temp. here  It doesn't get too warm, but it def. gets way too cold. I've been in places where it gets 120-130 F. Didn't like it   :P

Dang Alyssa, you shoulda been up here today. We had a small blizzard  My dog likes fresh powder also, but that's because he likes to eat it

Coming ito winter here in Oz, so time to get ready for the cold. brrrrr   :-\

I spent last Dec. in Sydney (my first Christmas on the beach, what a refreshing change! lol) and plan to go back this winter for at least Dec. and Jan. Even here in TN, winter gets too cold for me. We are having pretty much full blown Spring here now though, so bring on the heat! hehe (https://www.susans.org/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.cosgan.de%2Fimages%2Fsmilie%2Ffroehlich%2Fc020.gif&hash=f2049a6e30993c93beda05ec105f41f345285fda)

I like heat, but I HATE humidity, so as long as I live in Kentucky, I probably won't be loving summer.  There's nothing like sitting around stewing in your own juices.  Yuck.

On the other hand, as long as I live in this super drafty apartment, it's pretty impossible to enjoy winter too.  I'm loving the spring whether we're having right now...and fall is always awesome.  :)

The snow just melted off again today here(utah). Mattie, the last time I was in Ontario,CA I spent the night at San Bernadino County sherrifs jail. Disorderly conduct at the airport. I said the wrong thing to a lady at Southwest Airlines. F... Them

Yup -- that would be the wrong thing to say. NEVER drop an F-bomb (or the word "bomb" itself) within earshot of an airport worker.

Once when I was trying to get a ticket changed, the people at the counter jerked me around and wouldn't give me a clear answer about anything, and eventually told me to go away or they would have me arrested.

That's the airline industry for you. Always remember: it's a privilege to be crammed into a noisy smelly aluminum tube flung through the stratosphere, have your possesions rumaged through and then lost, and all while lacking good security against lunatics killing you for having that privilege. That privilege can be revoked at any time for any reason.

We can't wait to see you again soon, though! Thank you for flying the friendly skies!  >:-)

I'm sorry to hear you got the deluxe treatment. Look on the bright side -- there'll always be a place for you on the ol' Group W Bench. ;)

Yep, definitely ready for summer here. Tired of the cold, tired of being cold, tired of being marooned inside the house. The older I get the more intolerable the cold is.

Now that's not to say that all of summer is that great either. When we get to august and the 110 degree days stretch endlessly into the future, and it hasn't rained in months, some winter would be great. But unless you live in southern california I guess you have to put up with seasons of some kind.

It's 80 something out, 95% humidity and about to pour w/thunder and lightning...I still love south Florida though.

Though "winter" here is perfect.

Time to buy more sunscreen.

I'm with Nicky,
It's now the end of summer, all though it's 34C today (high 90sF).
Day light saving stops this weekend. I've never understood that term, how do you save daylight, I can hear Perry Como, "Put it in your pocket"

Don't like the cold.

LoL
