I'm trying to look for positives in my life, so here's one: I've finally found a group of people who address me with male pronouns and a male name! My friend introduced me as John (even though I'm obviously female), and whenever I tell people that's my name they kind of look at me funny then shrug and say whatever. And it's so cool, I'll just be sitting there and I'll hear someone say "he" and I'll look around and they're talking about ME!
Oh, and today I had a girl sit on my lap for the first time ever. I braided her hair. x]
Cool, Dude!
awesome!!!
It always feels good! :)
Get used to it buddy!
Jay
excellent :)
av told some of my friends about how i feel, but i havent got to the point of being called by male name and pronouns yet
Nice! I always try to give respect with pronouns, but one trans friend of mine absolutely hates them whether on target or not. It gets kind of awkward sometimes but thankfully there is 'ze' (pronounced zee) the gender neutral pronoun which helps.
I think it helps that I'm not the only transguy who hangs out there. My friend has been the pronoun police lately--he's starting transition and is making everyone switch his pronouns, so I kind of get to ride on his coattails.
Bro',
Thats like so awesome!!!

haha. My friend's friend (who is ftm) in Oregon, whom I've never met (but will in May) is constantly correcting him on my name...Jess to Jaimey. I find that quite amusing. :D
