Title: HRT in Germany?
Post by: Dark Angel on April 01, 2009, 06:17:05 AM
I moved to Berlin late last year and am running out of the supply of meds I brought with me. I found out that Amerikan prescriptions are useless to the Apotheke (Pharmacy) here. I  am on Private health insurance in Germany which is tailored for students. I am here as a student for now until I am able to find a job and get on public health insurance.

Its a long shot but is there anyone else who lives in Germany who has insight on where to begin to get my medication? So far I researched that you have to be diagnosed by two doctors as transgendered before getting on HRT. Do I really have to start over again here? If thats what it takes, so be it. Hoping theres a loophole for someone already diagnosed in the US.

Any insights would greatly be appreciated. Thanks!
