A trial to determine the constitutionality of a California law that provides special status based on "gender identity" is set to begin April 14 in Sacramento.
SB 777, which went into effect Jan. 1, 2008, prohibits teaching or any activity that "reflects adversely upon" or "promotes a discriminatory bias" because of sexual orientation or gender.
Ahhh -- another chance for "right thinking" Californians to troop to the polls and show their true colors especially that of their necks on a forthcoming election day after the court has ruled against them!!
Who was "forced" to change in a unigender locker room, the girl or the boy??
Who did it matter more to??
Did he or she have on the dress? ???
The kids' opinions are not given, and Focus on The Family is linked to the article which tells me no one would have listened to them if they had given them.
Forty five years ago when I was their age, I wanted to change in the girls locker room but I couldn't due to a physical deformity and societal bias. I had one mid pubescent male in my "official gender" locker room kick me in the crotch twice during one year. And they are afraid of what males might do to a woman!!! (Maybe it was done to a girl back then, (me) but none of them knew it back then, at least I don't think the B$%^d knew, because I didn't really know it then.)
