Title: clothes
Post by: xxaussiexx on April 09, 2009, 07:33:59 AM
Hey guys,

Im finding it difficult to buy or find work suit pants/trousers that i can wear that dont show my hips or any of my 'feminine' features.  How do you go about it without having to get a pair tailored?  Do i buy a pair a size larger than normal so they sit on my hips?  I want to look as nice a fit as possible without looking too big, scruffy, baggy.  Want it to look as guyish as possible.  Shirts i dont really have a problem with.  I know with most that you have to tuck them in but i worry about doing that as it may accentuate my butt and hips...

Cheers,
Josh

The easiest thing to do would be to call a tailor.  :-\  They can tell you what you need to do.  They may even be able to tell you a way to get pants without having them tailored.

Well prehaps another option is a nice business jacket with padded shoulders.  The jacket would hide the hip line. Plus a nice tie and your there.

I know coming from the other direction that a properly taylored jacket can make the hips bigger.  Sorry we can't swap.
