im a bit confused. you feel better when ur on them or off them?
If you feel better when you're on them, then take them. There's no shame in meds.
Interesting combination of drugs. You should talk to your psychiatrist and try to remember what they made you fell like. Some changes may be in order.
Do they all come from the same doctor? Do the other doctors know all the drugs you are taking.
ok the meds make me less depressed only my med prescriber at the mental health center knows all the meds i was on if i do start taking the meds again im not taking zyprexia because that caused me to gain a lot of weight which caused me to have bulimic tendencies
I think it's time you had a very serious talk with one of your Docs. You may be risking everything. You need to tell the truth of what you are on to a professional.

I hate taking pills myself and even took a break away from my NSAIDs because they can give me a bleeding ulcer and/or a cerebral hemorrhage and the odds of these increase ever so slightly with each and every pill I take. But I'm back on them myself because.. well.. I felt like s**t.
There are reasons we get the drugs we do from the docs we see. You can talk to your doc and explain that you would really rather not take too many drugs and see if he suggests something milder or something, but until then, you should take the drugs you've had prescribed.
...so those drugs not mix well cindy?
I'm deciding the same thing....i get so tired of taking my depression meds. so i just stop taking them every now and then. But now i'm taking them every day as i'm supposed to do and i can really feel a difference. so just hang in there and take them if it makes you feel better. if they don't, talk to your doctor again.
Generally when you start on meds, you will be worse/the same for the first 1-2 months, then it starts improving.
There are lots of interactions between drugs so if your prescriber doesn't know what you are on it can be bad. Often you need a prof pharamcist to research the interactions as they can be very complex. A lot of medics will rely on MIMS which is very good but not total. In big teaching hospitals it can be a very big deal in researching the interactions, not often understood by local medics.

I hear that! Take them Emoboi, if they where prescribed you are meant to take them.
Jay
If they work, take them.
Why not?
You should be taking them emoboi. I know what you mean about not liking to take them. Heck, I've been taking anti depressants since I was 15 years old...and I turn 24 today, so that's a pretty long time. I don't like taking them because I don't like the side effects, and because of that I tend to quit taking them without talking to my doctor about it. Then I'll be ok for a little while, but I always end up having to take them again because within months I'm severely depressed again.
If you don't like the side effects, talk to your doctor. There are other medications he/she could have you try. I've taken 7 different medications trying to find one that works without the side effects making me want to not take it. That stuff works different for everyone...neurochemistry is complex...
I'd say talk to your doctor before starting back on them. Depending upon your dosage and how long it's been since you last took them, you may need to start out at a lower dose than your current prescription.
