Okay so I was wearing a dress in my room, went to the bathroom, and then when I went to open the door to get back to my room one of my housemates was just leaving his room and I think he saw me. As soon as I noticed I closed the door again and just kind of stood there until he went wherever it is he was going. The door wasn't all the way open so I don't know how much he saw if anything but I'm kind of freaked.
On the plus side, he's gay so I'm not exactly worried about hate or anything like that, but on the negative side, I live in a house with 3 other people and he kind of strikes me as the gossiping type. There's also the factor that one of the other housemates already knows I have heels (i explained that away as 'needing them for costumes'). Luckily none of them go to the same college as me but still....
aaagh!
I'm planning on moving soon anyway, but now I'm gonna feel *so awkward*.
Sounds almost like you wanted to be caught. Taking high risks like that.

I probably do... but I'm usually pretty careful, I've gone back and forth from my room to the bathroom hundreds of times in the past weeks, it's literally about 4 feet away. Funny thing is I've gone downstairs to the kitchen before quite a few times which was much riskier :P.
I've been caught a few times....well, quite a few times. By neighbors, postal workers, church people etc. Most of them seem to like me better as a girl. I've only run into a few disagreeable people

See I wouldn't mind being caught like that at all :).
Caught! "oh, my gosh!" Did you sit while using the bathroom? You are not alone, many have been caught. Stuff happens. If it were me, I would do it more often. Allow them to become comfortable with you. Life only get's better! Shame on you. Naughty girl! LOL
My philosophy in these kind of situations: "If they don't bring it up, you don't bring it up."

That's my plan -- they (the housemates) barely talk to me anyway, so it'll probably go unpsoken.
My parents caught me wearing women's underwear back in nov 04 and that will not be forgotten trust me!
I was wearing Woman's underwear when I went to the E.R. I'm sure no one will forget that either  >:-)

Was it a 'caught!' situation, or did you not mind? :p

If you live in a small town, or if you're on the hospital staff, then yes, you're probably right.
But if you live in a medium-size city, and you're not a politician, then I suspect that happens often enough that the ER staff wouldn't remember you in particular.
Sorry to disappoint you, Virginia! :)
I do live in a small city with a small town environment. Everyone knows everything about each other. I'm surprised when I can wipe my butt in privacy :P

Ouch! But I guess they didn't know
everything about you. At least not
before your trip to the ER.
BTW, I hope you made a full recovery from whatever sent you to the ER.
So my wife found out about me being CD about 10 years ago, and she made me say I would not go out in public or tell her parents anything, or she would leave me.
12 months later her parents let themselves into our house one day un-announced with a key she had given them, and caught me dressed 100% female... :icon_yikes:
...In a moment my life flashed in front of my like I was dying....
It took several hours of explanation about how I rarely ever did it, how I had the clothes for years from a fancy dress party, and that it helped relieve stress etc...
My wife is still with me to this day, but I don't know if she ever found out what happened...
I really could not think of anyone in the world I would have wanted to catch me less....
Cest la vie! ::)
