Title: Awwwwww, friendship
Post by: AndrewLC on April 21, 2009, 06:59:49 AM
So I have these two friends - they're married, they have a kid (M - 2 years old), they're fabulously liberal, open people; poly, bi, etc.  I stay at their house pretty often.  I never came out directly to them, but they are both friends of mine on a blog site, and I KNOW they've read the posts wherein I talk about being trans.  And they've both made some small comments a time or two.  Over winter when I stayed with them the husband (I'm more friends with the wife, though the husband and I are certainly no kind of stranger at all) said something like "C said something about your name... changes?  No changes?"  And I was like, ".....ummm, *mumblemumble* incoherent, so, how's life?"

Basically I suck at coming out to people.

So yesterday I sent my friend C an email asking if I could crash at their place for a week-ish in June, and she responded that they'd love to have me.  The last line of the email, however, was great:

"I know M loves to see his Uncle Andrew.  Maybe you two boys can go reek havoc at the Children's Museum or something.  Lovin' ya!  C"

There are reasons I don't post at half seven in the morning.

This was meant to go in FTM, not RLE.
