Susan's Place Transgender Resources

I find myself stuck somewhere between trans and androgyne... to the extent that I believe physical transition is not going to be the right course.  That said, I'm now suddenly faced with an old dilemma.  Clothing is a serious problem for me, because I'm small, skinny, and androgynous in build.  Generally speaking, I wear the equivalent of an XS mens size or a size 6 in womens sizes.  There just aren't clothes cut for me in men's clothing, at least not in the US.  That leaves me with either women's clothing itself, which at least for work, usually is identifiably female, especially in the chest region (darts) but which fits me like it was made for me, or the odd place that sells actual unisex clothing options.  The only place I've found thus far that sells such a thing is American Apparel, which is a godsend for me, but I'm wondering if there is anywhere else that I'm unfamiliar with... places that sell shirts that are small in the upper arm, very slim in the waist and overall  quite small.  Places that sell things that are fitted, slim, etc... Preferably not just fancy but also casual stuff, regular ordinary clothes.  It really shouldn't be this hard :)  hehe  I'm soooooooooo tired of men's clothing options!  Gah!

If all else fails, you can take up sewing :).

Hm.  I know a lot of really small guys who are always clothed...I think most of them shop at regular shops.  You might try stores that specialize in the metrosexual look.  ???
