Does anyone have any suggestions for what to do when progesterone causes stomach discomfort?
take with food (how generic sounding, but that's what i have to do with my AA's)
Hmmm... Well, the directions are to take at bedtime. And the discomfort is not occurring right after taking it; it's just occurring during the ten days it's being taken.
I had that problem with oral estrogen. The discomfort built up slowly and it even gave me thrush, oral and otherwise. That's why I switched to patches and then gel...
I've never taken progesterone but isn't it available in injectable form?
I use progesterone cream. I put it on the insides of my upper legs and arms and on my belly

yup, although it's a
progestin and not the same as the bio-compatible progesterone taken oraly.
(might the discomfort be a reaction to the carrier oil in the progesterone?)
Hmmm...I've been having some stomach problems in the mornings and I have been on medroxyprogesterone. I was wondering about that. I take my HRT in the mornings but well before I take them my stomach is generally very upset, enough to wake me up most mornings. Rarely I throw up, usually enough time or burping does it. I was thinking it was weed cravings in my case but I'm not sure really.
