So today I had my first appointment with a therapist. It was basically a 20-questions thing so my soon-to-be-assigned-counselor has a platform to work from. The "screener" (for lack of a better term) asked me a ton of gender-related things and even delved a little into the realities of transitioning. Hard to believe that after two and a half years on Susan's that I'd finally be doing this. Just taking the first step today has made me happier than I've been in a really long time, and hopefully I can stay that way.
<3 to everyone here. The small victories are often the best. :)
awesome!!!! i'm so glad for you!!!
Thanks Kody!
Hey, I've thought about transition all my life and am just recently getting serious about going for it
Congratulations! Therapy is a very important first step. Get the most out of your therapist.

Well done

Thanks everybody! ;D
Great going, Nathan. For me, that first session was soooo hard, but so liberating. I am excited for you.
