It looks like Miss California is going to lose her crown for posing topless.
To be fair to her - and not like Beauty Contests are fair or anything - I thought the question about gay marriage was a bit more political then most pageant questions tend to be, which seem to focus on things like "Who was the most important person in your life and why?" (Winning answer is either your parents, or some family member, or a teacher). Or something vague about the need for more education about something. I don't see where her answer was all that bad (for a pageant answer that is).
I do these things (at least one or two a year) and we (stagehands) can sit there and guess the answers they are so pat and rote.
Though we often want to sneak in and put some questions in about math problems.
Now, let's do some fancy pageant walkin'.
That video was just offensive on several levels - now I remember why I don't watch major news outlets. Ad hominem FTW I guess.
I have to admit that Michael Musto is one of the nastiest, most vacuous people I have ever heard on or off TV. WTF would Olbermann even in vite him? That was supposed to be funny? I would imagine if I can feel a great deal of empathy for this woman after hearing him that people not so supportive of gay rights as me have no problems raising her up as some sort of religious icon!!
That was just ... well, stoopid of Olbermann. Watch that and feel like you need a garrotte for the neck of Pusto Musto and then a really long shower to wash his stench off of you!!
