I, personally, will go for the GRS.  I 'blend in' quite well and only really want some minor changes.  But the bottom needs major overhaul, and it is what I need to be changed.  Even if it is just for me.

FFS for sure. A major portion of how people read you is your face. With a very feminine face I think you would struggle to pass as male many times, even if you tried. So, basically it comes down to me wanting to feel completely comfortable around other people as my highest priority. I'm rather perceptive and I can definitely see those inquisitive looks on people's faces and I know exactly what they are thinking. I think without FFS only a very, very small percentage of MtF's can pass by their face alone.

Everyone has a different view on it though. I'm kind of a tomboy I suppose you'd say, and acting super girlish and fake just so people accept me as female is not something that sounds that fun to me. That's just not me. I want to act the way I want to and wear what I want but still be accepted as female by all. FFS can in all likelihood give me that.

If I felt that I needed it to pass, FFS.
If I wasn't concerned about passing, one way or another, GRS.

If you can't decide, flip a coin.

That's a tough one for me. I think I do ok as far as looks go. I don't get called sir or harassed if I use the ladies dressing room or restroom but I really would like to have my jaw line shortened but if I had to choose one or the other as my only option I would defiantly go for GRS.

I'd like to disagree with this, but lacking statistical evidence, I'll settle with "I think the percentage is higher than you suggested."

Hair removal and growth, in the correct ares. Coupled with good make-up techniques and HRT can cover up a fair number of "facial flaws."

Last I checked theres only one way to correct the downstairs area.

Now if the question is orchi or say a nose job combined with a trachea shave than I would be in a quandry.

Srs because it's a permanant elimination of the T factory, and the thing that's not supposed to be there, and also cuts down the usage of hormones, can have license with correct sex, etc....plus it might be kinda fun after it heals, since i like boys ;) Hrt has helped enough that i could wait just a lil longer for ffs, but it certainly didn't turn the outty to an innie.

The answer to this question might start with another:  Are you on HRT?

Estrogen can make some very profound changes to one's face.  Therefore, I would defer on FFS until I saw what "Grandmother Estrogen" and a practiced makeup technique could do for me.

I had GRS late last year.  I never worried about "passing."  I just went about my business in my desired gender and I have no desire to have radical surgery like jaw reduction.  Maybe a face lift but nothing beyond that.

Hoping this helps.

Yea a face lift would do me fine, unless someone knows the location to the fountain of youth, send me a copy of the map. 63 going on to 16.
