Title: this life of mine
Post by: Blaire on May 13, 2009, 11:17:04 PM
there are fat girls,
there are skinny girls,
there are curvy girls,
there are flat girls.
there are girls built like boys,
there are girls built a goddess,
there are tomboys,
there are girly girls,
there are feminine girls, and there are biker girls,
( i'm one one those..lol)

anyway you get my drift, i hope.

like most of us when we first realize that we can actually change into what/who we know we are, envision a certain type of girl we just know we are. i did this for about two weeks, then i looked in the mirror. sadness set in as i saw for the first time i would never be Paris Hilton. no matter how much surgery i had(lol).

it was then that my Daddy showed me something about myself. i am a unique creation of HIS. and even if i can't be as pretty as P.H. i can be me! so i decided right then and there that was going to be grateful for this chance to start over and become the person i wanted to be, the person i was supposed to be all along.

so with a heart full of thanks giving and love i'm going to take this second chance and i'm going to run with it. i'm going be the best person i can be, i'm going to enjoy each day set before me and grow. but most of all i'm going to be ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I understand Blaire.

I think I am in a place very much like you.  The image reflected in the mirror isnt the one that should be there.

I agree with your choice to to be yourself, as I am just beginning that as well.

Yuck!  Why would you ever want to be Paris Hilton?  That body has an expiration date on it measured in minutes...

She's cute and all, but really it can't last.

You have found yourself, Blaire, and that woman *is* forever beautiful!

BTW: Hon, could you use a different color for your font?  It is hard to read on white.  Thanks!
