Here's an odd, but maybe interesting, musing. If a werewolf gets bitten by a vampire, does it become a vampiric werewolf? Or maybe the vampirisim cancels out the lycanthropy? Or furthermore, do they cancel each other out and the victim just ends up dead?
I think they would then be half vampire and half wolf.
It would actually be a fight to the death, because they are mortal enemies. Have you not seen any of the Underworld Movies. ;D However it would be a very powerful creature with the strength of both.

Sorry about this.
Given the cross between the vampire and the hairy werewolf, would the book be written by Dram Stroker
Cindy
In many cultures they are the same thing.
Also the rivalry is purely hollywood.
In a very many books, and video games that I have read and played. Werewolves tend to be subservient to vampires...
Buffy, Blade, Jesus, and various other murderers of darkling beasties wins in this encounter.
In my opinion... they explode.
Just don't play fetch with a crucifix. That might end up... messy.
LOL Yea that could hurt

Depends. is the vampire Jewish?
Maybe you'd end up with a vampire who only sucks blood under a full moon.
Well the issue where I was having it has been resolved. I decided that since Lycanthropy is a disease and Vampirisim is undead, and you can't be sick when your dead, they cancel each other out.
Vampire :)
Well yea, that's what I meant. Like if your a werewolf and you get bit by a vampire, you become a vampire.
depends on which "type" of vamp or werewolf you're using..
If you're thinking American Werewolf in London werewolves and Lost Boys Vampires, then you'd probably get something kinda neat.
But mix Any werewolf with those darn Twilight vampires and all you'll get is glitter-covered emo-puppies and their make-up encrusted fan-boys and girls.

I love you....
Didn't they have vampire pooches in one of the Blade movies?
Then again if a vampire bit a pig do you get swine flew?
Cindy
*Grumbles at Adrianna and Miniar* So the movie was cheesy but i love the books. *goes off to pout*
*sticks out tongue at fan girl SO*
Werewolf: Hey guys how are ya?

hang on, if Lycanthropy is a disease and Vampirisim is undead, that means you have a Vampire who's infected with Lycanthropy, but can't become a Werewolf since they undead.
mmmmmm, you'll end up with a Typhoid Mary on your hands. A Vampire turning people into Werewolf everytime they feed. Lets see the National Center for Infectious Diseases sort that out.
Humm,
I'll have to think about this one.
I'll go with the werewolf anyday. They like your blood just as much as vampires. As you can tell I have a thing for wolves. I've watched all the movies. Vampies and Werewolves. I'm a horror puff, scare me if you can.
