RAINWORTH transsexual Debbie Davies says she is hopeful health chiefs will now pay for her sex-change operation –– after going on hunger strike over the lack of help she has received.
The 43-year-old, who used to be known as Richard, hit the headlines 12 months ago after Chad exclusively revealed how she was determined to go through with a sex-change operation despite getting no support from the NHS.
