I have been crossdressing for four years now. I'm out in public quite a bit and want to be out more. I have been out three times this week. I have a speaking engagement upcoming in June and I would dearly love to speak to others about being transgender and a crossdresser.
It seems that I want to share more of myself with the public. I know there are many CDs out there who maybe need encouragement or someone who's willing to be out there. I'm not looking for attention; I desire to live my life as openly as possible. I'm not ashamed or feel guilty about wearing women's clothing. There's so many people that need educating about transgender topics.
I look forward to THIS summer because I believe that lives are going to be changed.

Hi, Gennee,
Are you going to edcuate so many people?
In my case, I already gave up.
I "just do it".

:) Gennee,
You have a wonderful attitude! Are you saying that you hope to share more
of yourself by just being out there? I've read a number of stories of CDs who were able to help the understanding of store clerks or others with whom they
struck up a conversation. And the fact that you are proud of who you are
makes a huge difference in how you are perceived!
You mention your speaking engagement in June. Will you be speaking about
crossdressing, or is this a topic you would like to speak about in the future?
There certainly are many people who need to be educated about trans-
gender topics, whether they are "straight" people, or transgender people who
are denying themselves the experience of being who they really are!
Cheers,

Thats a great thing you're doing. As someone who went through a long process to determine who I really am (or maybe to just discover it ), I think having beautiful people out there like you sharing their knowledge would be a definate benefit. It certainly would have helped me be open a lot sooner! People need more awareness.
