just another quick question. I had my third shot today so this time it was the second shot into my right hip. When i had my first shot, it was rly painful 5mins after and lasted for 2days. Same with the left hip. Hwever, when i had the 2nd shot it wasnt painful at all and i still dont feel anything from it. Should i be worried? I thought there would at least be a bit of pain from the shot...Is it possible that the doc put it in the wrong place? Just hope that its normal!

I can't speak to T-shots, but I presume they are intramuscular like the E-shots.
One thing you find when you've been stuck enough (blood draws, vaccines, catheters, whatever) is that each stick and each place you are stuck is at least slightly different. Some people are definitely more accomplished phlebotomists than are others.
But the one thing that's always true about hormonal DEC shots is that the idea is that the hormones pool under where the shot is located. The hormone stays there for longer and shorter times displacing tissue until it releases into the blood stream. That displacement after the stick will cause some degree of pain.
I've never had one that is totally painful, not given myself one that was either. But sometimes someone will stick a vein, go too deep or use the wrong quadrant of the hip for the shot and hit a vein. Those can be quite painful I understand and dangerous dependant on what damage is done and how much of a vein wall is punctured and other factors.
Otherwise expect some slight pain after most shots, but sometimes almost none or no pain at all. If you manage to stick a vein I have no doubt from all I have read that you'll know it. In point of fact there will be blood in the needle and it will flow rather freely with each pulse of your heart.
I wouldn't worry too much about the ones that hurt not at all. :) Those tend to be the best sticks and the best shoots. :)

Inject after your morning shower. Your muscles will be all warm and more receptive to a thick injection like testosterone. Also, your technique will improve over time and leave you with less residual pain.
if you have someone else inject for you or if you are sore from your shot earlier in the day or the day before, hop back in the shower, soap up the area you injected and massage it.

and unless you're doing sub-q injections, you shouldn't inject in your hip. Butt & thigh only, due to how thick the oil is.
You are... worried that there is no pain? Interesting switch from the worries of most ;)
In my personal experience (I'm not a doctor/have been self-injecting T for the past few months), the shots have actually become less painful. My first shot did hurt, not so much from the needle but from the presence of the T in the muscle; ached for several days afterwards. (Ever have a tetanus shot? That kind of muscle ache.) The second shot still ached, but it didn't last as long. By the third or fourth shot, I was no longer experiencing post-shot muscle aches. I will say that I am experiencing an ache now, but I credit that to a) not taking a warm shower beforehand and b) not massaging the area for as long as I usually do.
I wouldn't worry that the doc shot you up in the wrong place if your only cause of concern is a lack of pain.
After the first few times in the butt it was fine.. didn't feel anything.. even those I used to bleed every damn time!

I give myself weekly injections in the thigh, and I've found that the amount of pain, both during and after, varies from week to week. I suspect it has to do with technique, how warm the T was (and therefore how viscous) before injection, and how close you get to any major nerve endings.
Mine hurt once in awhile. Most of the time, though, and especially since I've started doing them post-shower, they're virtually painless, apart from the little stick of the needle initially. I have had times, however, when I feel the shot forever... it burns for hours following initial injection, then will throb sporadically over the next few days.
But yeah... how the heck do you do your shots in the hip? I'm overweight, but I know I'd hit bone if I tried that.

I definitly feel more at ease. I dont know, i guess it was just knowing that when i felt the pain, the T was in and it was working. Its kind of the same with the gym, im really happy when im sore the next day as i know the muscles were worked. Reassurance...
My doc does it for me in the hip and its not that bad. Admire u guys for doing it yourself. I tried a few times but could just never bring myself to put the needle in. I pierced my skin then had to pull it right out.
Anyways, really appreciate all your input!
