if they ask for gender


if your legally female...do you have to put that your female?


i dont wanna be getting mail from school or anything with Ms. Jason on it

yes.  if you don't, your fafsa will turn into a gigantic nightmare.  also, you must put your legal name.

Although once you get accepted, some colleges (at least mine does), allow you to pick the title of choice regardless of legal gender.  You just need to stop by at the records office and ask them to change your title to Mr.  Now all of my class schedules, grade reports, and anything else from the college is addressed to "Mr. XXXXXX X. XXXXXXXXXXX."  They do have to keep your legal name though, but if I remember correctly, you have that changed already.

Yeah my name is changed so I'm not worried about the name part.

Are you in the US? Because if you're in the UK, I don't think there's any reason why you can't put male before you get your Gender Recognition Certificate. If you're in the US, I have no idea!

In the UK, you can put whatever you want (I asked the student advisor's when I was applying). I have no idea about anywhere else in the world though.
