So last night in the mail I received 2 packers from easy2bed or whatever... One small one medium... Took someones advice on here and just got both to see which fit me better/I want to make one into an STP but thats whatever... anyway
So after excitedly ripping open the packaging, grabbing one, and stuffing it into my briefs I realized... ->-bleeped-<-.. I really don't even know where a dick is supposed to go.
I mean.. duh... I know generally.. but really I've avoided close observation/contact with objects of the penis kind. I mean, I know it doesn't particularly matter if my positioning is dead on as its not really obvious/ I mean I'm not wearing it on the outside of my clothes or anything, and I realize that until I procure/create some sort of harness it will move about a bit within my underbritches anyway... but still for the most realistic feel/look I'd rather not have it be way too high/low.
Lemme start by saying I'm assuming that a dick would come out about where the clit is. I mean, its sort of the female equivalent isn't it? (if no... sorry I'm dumb as I said... I am not too well acquainted with the body of biological males and in fact avoid them due to dysphoria and such.) But when placed so that the shaft is coming out of that area the it looks a bit off...well... I mean the 3 1/2 inch one actually makes a bigger bulge (as gravity is not weighing it down as much its kind of... perky? [side question: does that lessen at all in use?])
The 5 1/2 inch feels and looks less obtrusive (oddly enough as I'm short/small in general) and I believe someone mentioned on here that the 5 1/2 is easier to piss out of and I'm seeing how that would be VERY true so I think that'll be the STP one... but I'm a bit thrown off by how exactly that would work.. I mean at like say a urinal... I'm finding it kind of hard to get the shaft through the provided fly in my briefs... I'm thinking this is either because I am just new at it/the packy is bendy/stretch whereas a real dick would not be so it gets more ... twisted? or that once again it is an issue of positioning and I've got it too low? doesn't seem right/it seems awkward to have it any higher as it would create an even bigger bulge (awkwardly so for both the 5 1/2 and 3 1/2) and would be more near the pubic bone... but maybe dicks come out of there for doods... iuno...
so... any advice on that? I'll summarize:
- Where does a dick grow out of on a dood? (as compared to female anatomy)
- Any advise on how to get it out of briefs/any underwear fly really(but mostly briefs as I don't have a harness yet) without it being awkward/obviously stretching it far beyond the limits of how a real dick would stretch (I'm not lookin to have a stretch armstrong style urinal experience... although I'm sure the tubingness for the STP business would prevent a lot of that) ?
- really any advise on how to wear/use a packy is appreciated... I mean I know its not too complicated, but its a bit intimidating (yet... empowering... I didn't think I'd like it this much... )
You're correct in the placement. I personally have a place where I like the balls to be when I reach down, so I place the packer there. But yeah, it works out to have the shaft about where your own dick is.
For the 3.5, try pointing the shaft UP along the leg band of your briefs. Makes a smaller bulge.
And you're right, the 5.5 makes a better STP. Same deal: tubing up to the left, shaft up to the right, like a V, balls in the anatomically correct spot. The 5.5 incher has a tendency to flip if not an STP due to the thin flimsy balls, so you may need tighty whities.

I have a 3-1/2" STP and I'm very satisfied with it. I always place the packer shaft right where my own smaller dick is. I put the shaft & balls in place, turn the shaft to the left (so the dick is running above the leg band, like Jay said) and the tube to the right. I wear tight briefs and I've never had my packer turn upside down or move in strange places--sitting, walking, running, biking, it just stays in place.
As for actually using it, I don't bring the shaft through the fly. It takes too long. It's easier to just pull down the top band of my underwear a bit and flip it out. When I first started using it (with the STP in place), I found that the shaft was a bit low and I had a hard time clearing the fly of my jeans. I pulled the tubing out out a bit so that the tube that exited the packer was longer; much easier now. You can play around with the tube length that works best for you.
I'm really curious about all this. To me shoving something plastic down me pants just wouldn't feel right. I need something to feel like it is part of me for it to feel natural. Don't get me wrong I would love to have a fully functional wang as much as the next trans guy but if I can't I'm not going to fake it with something sub standard.
^ I feel the same way as you, milliontoone. I've never understood the point of packing for myself, but that's not to say that it's not beneficial for other guys because I'm sure that it is. I'm curious about it as well
To Milliontoone & Chamillion:
Before I started packing, I also questioned the point. It's not real, it's plastic, why should I bother? I decided to give it a shot and found that I liked it. I have no doubt that the fact that I pack with an STP improves my outlook towards packing: it is at least functional, and I like having the option of standing at a urinal instead of having to sit all of the time. Even though some bio-guys sit, it is just nice having the ability to choose. Also, I like knowing that I can easily take a leak outside if hiking/camping.
Outside of practicality, I find that just the look of *something* there... feels more right. Seeing myself in mens' underwear with a baggy, unfilled front is just a harsh reminder. And logically, I know that what does fill it isn't *really* mine; I didn't grow it, it's not attached. But the mind is indeed a powerful thing, and as much as I have been able to disconnect it from certain parts of my anatomy that I can't accept, I have been able to connect it to an inanimate object in a way that just makes me feel better somehow. I try not to dwell on the fact that, for now, a plastic penis is as good as it's gonna get for me.

yea. the STP factor is definitely the reason I got them to begin with. I ordered 2 because the shipping was going to be 7 bucks either way so I figured may as well get two. I'm outdoors a lot and frankly I'd rather pee out of something that looks like a dick that I have already in my pants then some plastic ->-bleeped-<- I have in my pocket. If I was female brained I'd probably feel a lot differently and probably would be cool with just squating in the woods, but I'm not.
I mean...I've only had them for about 12 hours now, and I can definitely see how wearing one could improve your confidence[?]
I agree on the underwear thing too. I HATE seeing myself in mens underwear... [well and womens obviously] Its nice to be able to not hate the sight of one more part of me... I've never understood stuffing socks down your pants and all that... seems a bit odd but this feels like it makes more sense. I mean granted I probably won't be dawning it for daily use for a while...and really a non-STP packer wouldn't do much for me in the long run as most of my pants sorta look like they've got a bulge goin on as it is.
and its like soft and squish...so its not like you've got a dildo in your pants or anything... its not a discomfort in any way.
I think one of the other bigger reason for packing is that if I guy is sitting down in a position where his pants are tighter around his crotch, it's not going to be flat like a girl's.
I was also sceptical about packing before I actually tried it (I made one using the hairgel in condoms trick)
I always wear skinny jeans, and it occurred to me that when other guys wore skinny jeans, I could blatantly see their junk even when I didn't mean to, so I had to get SOMETHING
Also, it's fun to play with :P like a stress ball *no pun intended*
I'm going to have to look into one of these. ;)
Although, I wonder how my mother would react, if she were to know... I know she'd be understanding, and I am horrifyingly secretive in spite of that. Is anyone else as ridiculously secretive about such things?
These cheapy packers feel like the real deal. I was married to a man, and have had access. ::)
So when I grab my own crotch (not in public!) it feels real. When body temperature and coated in corn starch, it feels like a real cock. It has enormously helped my confidence, and standing to pee even more so. Esp. at work. It's like a power thing.
I likely will not get bottom surgery, and I like the feel of having something there.

Lol, good to know. I have not had access, so I have no clue. I will say that grabbing (in private) after the thing had warmed up to body temp seemed convincing, but I couldn't be sure without something to compare to.... uh, I think I'll just take your word for it. :D

Jay, I forgot what kind of stp you use. You're pretty happy with it, right?
I have a Mango and like the receptacle, but the cock part is nothing more than the same cheapy 5.5 packy with a hole in it. In fact, with Mango being pretty much out of commission and them still owing me another stp, I bored a hole in a packy from early 2 bed and got new tubing from Home Depot and replaced the dick part.
Jay
Hey thanks to everyone who replied to my question. Makes more sense now, I can understand a lot of it actually. Just not something that's for me
Cheers!

how do you get it to stay put? i have a very frustrating time with this, and it's partly why i haven't worn mine in public much. mine was too big (maybe that's why it won't stay put??) and doesnt have pee ability. maybe i should get a different one next time.
is there a certain style or maker that stays put better? or do some people need everyday type harnesses?

The 3.5" stays in place better than the 5.5" with the thin, flimsy balls. Best things to keep it in place: tighty whities, jock strap (remove cup), pouch underwear (PLAY makes some), or a harness. Personally I use tighty whities and some boxer briefs are good enough. The STP tubing helps keep the larger packer in place.
