I read about this on another site and got angry.
QuoteFrom ->-bleeped-<- dash alert dot com. This is not just appropriative or transphobic, it directly threatens the safety and privacy of trans women:
Our site cannot survive without your submissions!
Spot a ->-bleeped-<- or suspected ->-bleeped-<- around town? See a hot ->-bleeped-<- mess? Observe a guidette in New Jersey with ->-bleeped-<- style? Notice trannies on TV/Radio/Billboards? Find yourself at a Lady Gaga concert? WE WANT TO KNOW!
Remember, if you spot a ->-bleeped-<-: snap your fingers, snap a pic, and e-mail those photos to: mayday@->-bleeped-<- dash alert dot com !
In light of the murders of trans women such as Gwen Araujo, Angie Zapata and others, it is indefensible to run a website that requests readers submit photos of trans women (or people they've read as trans women) without their consent and publicly out them. This site threatens the safety of every person they post a photo of. Please spread the word and take action.

ETA2: ->-bleeped-<-Alert's response on Twitter: "Wow people really need to get a ->-bleeped-<-ing sense of humor."
This is so messed up and disgusting.
I reported them.
Their ridicule of trans people is unacceptable.

Dear ->-bleeped-<- dash alert dot com,
I want to report this really effeminate looking guy I saw in church the other day. I think he must be a ->-bleeped-<-. Alert everyone about him.

Sorry, the blog at ->-bleeped-<-alert.blogspot.com has been removed. This address is not available for new blogs.
Did you expect to see your blog here? See: 'I can't find my blog on the Web, where is it?'
I seem to remember actually going to the site and reading something along the lines of "a ->-bleeped-<- is not someone who is transgendered, but someone with over-the-top styke." I think they meant style.
I don't think this was transphobia, just very poor (and odd) choice of words. Plus taking pictures of people without permission and posting them on the internet to be ridiculed, which is still pretty horrifying.

The cops think that too, particularly when they are caught doing something wrong. I don't think you have an expectation of privacy when you're out in the world - might as well own how you look and dress.
''suspected ->-bleeped-<-'' ???
So non-transwomen can also become target of this rude ''joke''.

So was I the only one that read that sentence, or did I just imagine the whole thing?
