I got mine but there were no instructions on how to wash it.
Is there any special way to wash it or should I just chuck it in with my other clothes?
Thanky in advance, sorry if it sounds a bit thick.
;D
just stick them in the washer. no dryers, though-- the heat breaks down the elasticity. let them air dry.
I wash mine on delicate and air dry. I was told hanging them up to dry helped preserve them longer, but store them folded.
Mine go in the washer, 30°c, with similar colours.
Hung up on a hanger to dry.
I would store them folded but I wear 'em ALL the time and can barely keep up with washing them so I have a clean one to wear (yes yes.. I'm lazy... I do laundry once a week... I'm a guy, what do you want from me!)
i hand wash mine...didn't want to risk money down the drain if they weren't supposed to go in the washer...

Don't feel bad. I wash my binders only once a week. :)
I wash mine on cold with my other clothes and chuck 'em in the dryer. I have to take my laundry out to do it, and I just can't bring myself to cart home wet binders. But then, I have a thing about touching wet things. Switching the laundry is bad enough. *shudders*
I used to use cotton concealers from Underworks, and I shamelessly threw them into the dryer to get them to shrink up and bind me more tightly. But I figured that it was okay if the elasticity started to break down over time because I hoped I wouldn't be needing them for all that long. Mercifully, I was right.
Ah crap no dryers? No wonder mine feels like it isn't working too great anymore. It didn't even occur to me to ask or check first :P
I wash mine in cold water with whatever im washing at the time and put it in the dryer. The first one I had I didn't dry it and I when i got my 2nd one i dried it cuz I wanted it to shrink and it held up as well as the first, so i've dried them ever since. I have never noticed a difference. I feel like when I dont dry them they stay stretched out.
I think on the Underworks site at least, they tell you to handwash them in cold water, which is what I do. I'm pretty sure it's okay to machine-wash them so long as you don't put them in the dryer, although I may be wrong.
You could try looking around on the site where you got your binder to see if there are any instructions for washing.
Heat breaks down the elastic in binders. If you can't handle air drying them, tumble dry w/o heat.
There's a little tab inside most clothing, including binders (at least mine) with little symbols that tell you how to watch 'em.
