Homosexuality is quite common in the animal kingdom, especially among herding animals. Many animals solve conflicts by practicing same gender sex.
"One fundamental premise in social debates has been that homosexuality is unnatural. This premise is wrong. Homosexuality is both common and highly essential in the lives of a number of species," explains Petter Boeckman, who is the academic advisor for the "Against Nature's Order?" exhibition.

History has recorded that 10% of humankind has been homosexual. But the Reichwingers will not tell you that. But just to some searching and you will see it.
No facts to back up my claim, but it is there.

That widely accepted 10% number comes originally from the Kinsey studies on sex done long, long ago with a rather skewered sample base. Few find Kinsey's findings to be valid anymore, while still hailing him as a pioneer. But that 10% figure never seems to go away or change.
It is common to see herding animals like cattle and horses hump each other. Saw a dog try to hump a cat once. The cat was slightly upset. There are many species of fish who are transexual. They change gender at some point in their life.

Oh gay sex solves conflicts? If only we could test that theory in the office - damn those pesky sexual harrassment laws.
"Ok boss, assume the position and brace yourself!"
