Title: supportive community
Post by: betty on July 11, 2009, 08:16:05 PM

Hello Ladies

I'm hoping that this e-mail provides the proof that there are places which offer a supportive community for transsexuals.

I'm very lucky to live in Vancouver BC Canada, which in itself a very friendly place for LGBT individuals, especially in  the west end.

My female partner (suffering from severe endometriosis) and me(m-f transgender) have been considered for a place in a housing co-op that is accepting of transsexuals. We have already had a personal interview with the housing commitee and they will be letting us know if we are successful in our application in the next few days. They were really nice people and we are hoping they think we are a good fit in the community

Wish us luck!

All my love to everyone

Betty

Hey girl! That's really good to hear :). Hopefully they let you move in. If not, you'll always have a community here at Susans  :icon_yes:.
