Tuesday, July 21st, at 10 a.m. Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney will introduce the Women's Equality Amendment also known as the ERA. Did you know this has been introduced every single year since 1923 when it was first introduced by the suffragette heroine Alice Paul? The wording remains the same:
"Equality of rights under the law shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex."
