Nope and would never do it.....the potential to seriously harm yourself permantly far outweighs any advantages of owning your own machine.

Electrolysis is a very complex process to eradicate hair. I mean you have to be a trained professional to insert a needle into each hair follicle, transmit the right amount of electric current to each hair root to losen it and then pull each hair out without causing scarring to the sorrounding skin. If a non-competent electrologist works on your face, chances are that you'll end up scarred for life....so my question is...do you trust yourself enough to be your own electrologist?
Honestly I don't. I'd never play around with poking needles around my face...any part of my body, maybe.....never my face!!!

about 4 or 5 months ago i visited a laser hair removal clinic in my city.
A friend of mine took the plunge, i did not have the money.
What I got from the consultation and my friend's experience was that the treatment, the creams that they put after and how much and how to remove it takes trainning and experience. It generaly takes 6 sessions because is so easy to damage the skin permanently.
Why remove my 5 o'clock shadow to replace it with a permanent burn that is worse looking than the 5 o'clock shadow?
That is a risk I know I won't take, and I love taking risks.

the laser is the same as the ones that are used at the laser centers and it has been appoved for at home use by the governmen.

For what it's worth, most 6-session packages, done by a medical doctor, with a LightSheer (argueably the best hair-removal laser at the moment) would cost around $1,500 - $2,400. Many offer free touchups after that too.
I looked at them, but all the reviews said it just burned the skin and didnt work. And a site i looked at listed the producer as one of the scams of hair removal. I wrote elsewhere about what I currently use, but havent varified the laser one. And I wont get the laser after reading those reviews either.
