Trans People in Love

There are plenty of stories from transmen and their successful relationships with women, even a few of transmen in relationships with men. When it comes to transwomen though, the stories are mostly of relationships with other transwomen or transmen or cisgendered women. I have to wonder if that was an editorial decision or more to do with the submissions of work that actually came in?

The two stories that are almost transwomen in relation to straight men, are far from inspiring. One is from a gay-identifying and gay-living male who frocks up and has been in a long term relationship with a straight male due to frocking up. That to me is just not trans. Though 'trans' is a rather large abstraction (almost as big an abstraction as 'love') with so many differing identities falling under that umbrella. There is a big difference to me between those who 'frock up' in privacy, or even venture out 'en femme' once in a while and those of us who live as our gender identity and have to face the world every day.

what does "frocking up" mean?
mostly UK way of saying "getting dressed up", implying crossdressing.

There was an "after news" thing on telly here, couple weeks ago, where they interviewed a couple. One transwoman, one cisgendered man. They looked sweet and happy.

Wow, my review on my little old blog rated a mention Natasha? At least part of it LOL

Yeah Flan, though this wasn't UK dialectics, more an Australian thing.  ;)

Anyway, just saw the link here from my blog and thought I'd drop by and thank you for the coverage, blog stats went way up for the 26th.  :)
