Title: transsexual-themed haikus!
Post by: Quicksand on July 27, 2009, 06:56:32 PM
( :P this is what happens when I try to do homework ahead of time.  Anyone else care to try their hand at a few haikus?)

Out of the closet?
Now don't shut the door so fast;
you've left things a mess.

Strong jawline, down to
thick neck, broad shoulders, down to--
but wait, what are these?

Cracked open, no shell
Sunny-side up, it looks good
but something smells burnt.

Adam's apple falls
from my mind into my palm
I'll eat it later.

I fashioned a cape
you donned a dress twice your size
false cloth for false kids.

A first attempt:

After years of fear
Just throw caution to the wind
And be who you are.

Looking down I see
Something is just not right.
That should not be there!
