I think I'd be too scared of saying any such thing to Susan.  I can imagine her looking stonily at me and saying, in icy leaden tones, "you're not at all funny young man...we are not amused!" in true, anecdotal Queen Victoria fashion. I'm not sure what her sense of humour is like actually.  I'm sure she has a good giggle when she's not poking sharpened sticks into small, errant mammals on the board - or elsewhere.
