Title: Question on Stigma
Post by: Maddi on August 07, 2009, 12:48:53 AM
Well, fist off I tried crossdressing for the first time today! Woot woot!

I don't know what made me do it. I had thought about trying it the past year or so and today I just got an urge to and did. Wasn't anything fancy. But lucked out I had a whole outfit minus shoes. (Ex wifes old clothes) And I have to say I enjoyed it.

But.....

The enitre time from going to get the clothes to after I was back in male clothes I had a nagging voice in my mind. "Your a boy!" "What are you doing?!" "This is a sin!"

Whats funny on the sin one is....I am not religious. lol But it's just stuff I was told growing up and it stuck in my head. So I was wondering if anyone had tips to shut this stigma up so I can explore myself.

Tell that nagging voice to 'shut the f up'.  It is all those negative things you were told when young and it is all so much BS.

Let me ask, What did you feel?  Not what the voice was saying?  But how did you feel?

Wiccan s have a saying, "And it harms none, do what thy will".  Were you harming anyone?  It is cause the heavens open up and you be struck by lighting?  No, because you are here telling us about it.  It will get better as you realize that it is just part of who you are.

Hi,

Explore your feelings. If you enjoy dressing up do so. Nothing wrong with that. People have been doing it for ever, or almost.
If you enjoy cross dressing as a sexual experience, nothing wrong either. If you are dressing to release your female psyche fine. If you are struggling with gender identity, well that's more of a problem. Because then you have to start thinking about where you want to go. Lots of help on this site. Read through some of the threads.

Oh and welcome Honey

Love

Some people like to claim that my crossdressing can cause harm to the public or someone else. I do not like to argue with those guys.

I love the blunt approach Janet. lol I will tell that F***er to shut up!

I felt.....good. Not really better than in mens clothes, but a different good. After the shock of having done it I took a deep breath and smiled. Then I had to look in a mirror. And I do not make a pretty girl. lol Even with 3 foot of red hair. I also need to stuff and get an ass. But I actually thought, "In due time."

I am very uneasy about myself getting an OP but, this has opened up a whole new door to me.

Yes. You are going to see another world.

It has been exciting for me to see the different world that only women could perceive and very few men could see.
