What did you think of the way Silence of the Lambs dealt with trans-gender issues? Do you think it got away with the "there are 'bad guys' in all shapes and sizes", or do you think there was a some trans-deamonising?
I think it was meant to just be a good scare film. But I def. feel that some parts didn't do the trans community any favors
Though at least Jodi Foster's character pointed out that Trans people almost never commit violent crimes. Then, as I recall, Lecter tells her that the killer isn't really trans (whatever that means ::) ) and was likely denied transition. Of course, how many people remember that part?
Now if only the lesson people had taken away was, "It's dangerous to deny trans people their hormones." ;)

Now i'm picturring South-Park's Cartman "Playing Lambs"
Does "Silence of the Lambs" make worry about your psychiatrist? Or having lunch with them?

Pretty sure it's in the basket.
Seeing that Tink is going on with life, you all have reach Lecter's #1 fan on Susan's. I would show the lotion scene but it would get me banned.
And my Baby would never even look at this thread.
