Title: So, anyone else from BC?
Post by: Mew on August 13, 2009, 06:15:14 PM
Hello everyone. :) I'm Mew, an FtM from British Columbia, Canada. I consider myself to have not started my transition yet since only a few close friends and my mom know of my GID - although I dress in male clothing, have short hair (when I bother to cut it), wear a binder and have for a couple of years now.
But (hopefully this time next year), I'm moving across the province with my mom to finish up my last couple years of high school, and am going to enroll in my new school and introduce myself to everyone as a boy.

I found this site around 8 months ago, but didn't really have much use for it since I didn't have any solid plans for transition, but now I figure this site will be pretty useful to me as I try and figure out how to tell everyone I know in my current town about what's wrong with me and why before I move.

So, this is my introduction. (: It's nice to meet you all.

EDIT: Jeeze, this looked a lot shorter on the preview page..  :-X

Hi Mew, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 2900 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another brother. :icon_hug:

And be sure to check out

I know the Cindybc and Wingwalker live in Vancouver.  But other than them I know of no one.  I am a neighbor to the south.  Oregon, Portland.

Blessed Be.
Janet
