Title: August 13, 2009: Name Legalized!

At like... 15 'til 10 in the morning on August 13, I stood up in court, really nervous... the judge made me say my old name, then asked to confirm that the new name was what I was requesting. As easy as that, the name change was granted. "Thank you your honor!" I said, filled with elation, and proceeding to wonder if I would later tell of this event on an Internet forum as though describing the events of a novel...

My family and I all went out for insanely expensive Me N Eds pizza to celebrate. I'm so happy! My new legal name is Sarah Jessica Lewis!

Yeah, it is! It's almost hard to believe it's really happened. I feel as happy as when I started hormones in February.
