Anti-GLBT groups rail against gays, lesbians, bisexuals, and transgendered people on the basis of nebulous things like morality or religious faith--things that can mean different things to different people.
But when policy and law are enacted on the basis of such things, they can have concrete results in the real world; for GLBTs, that can mean practical challenges not faced by others.
I found the license bit fairly easy, birth certificates and passports are another story.
since when are LGB people having problems with driver's licenses?
Good point, Mister.
Oh come on Mister, everyone knows the gays have lots of problems with the DMV, including, but not limited to:
- Only place in SF without a Starbucks, Peets or Tullys inside
- The color scheme is just hideous
- Worst photographs ever
- Track lighting that is so last year
- No outdoor patio to wait in
Nice, Tekla. :D
