Title: TAKE ACTION: Lawmakers Push Special Rights for Gay Employees
Post by: Julie Marie on August 21, 2009, 03:10:10 PM
citizenlink.com, a Focus on the Family news site, is asking its readers to take action and stop the passage of ENDA.

"It's just a very dangerous situation," Len Deo, president of the New Jersey Family Policy Council, said, "when we start passing laws based on people's behaviors."

He pointed to a similar New Jersey "anti-discrimination" law that has created conflict for the United Methodist-owned Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association.

In 2007, the group refused to allow two gay-identified people to hold a civil-union ceremony at its beachfront property.

The church later lost its tax-exempt status on the pavilion.

A similar law in Minnesota allowed a male teacher to dress as a woman.

I love these "Family Policy Council" type groups.  Self created, self appointed, self righteous.  Imagine the terror your child would experience if their male teacher was allowed to dress like a woman!

Sometimes they make me want to make a mock site where all the articles focus on the dangers of heterosexuality and religion...

If you go shuffling through their website (remember to put your computer in a condom or you'll have to give it a rape shower) you'll find a link to:

truetolerance.org  (I won't make a link for it, they don't deserve the hit count).

This oxymoronic group claims to be truly tolerant by countering the "gay bias" in school.  So by being intolerant, they are actually being tolerant.

Couching intolerance and hate by proclaiming it is in fact love and comfort should be listed as being against the commandment about bearing false witness.

Also, Minar:

There is a parody site called "God Hates Shrimp!"

http://www.godhatesshrimp.com/ (http://www.godhatesshrimp.com/) They do deserve a link and hit count.

Right next to the statement in Leviticus that homosexuality is an abomination, is the statement anything that moves through water and does not have scales is an abomination in the sight of the Lord and should not be eaten lest ye be damned.  Oh well, anyone who has eaten at Red Lobster apparently is on the same hell bound train as we LGBT folks are on.  It should be an interesting ride!  >:-) >:-) >:-) >:-) >:-) >:-) >:-) >:-)
